Let me teach you how to cook…

Yesterday was Father’s Day so I decided to do something nice for my husband. It’s the least I could do, right? I got up early (and lord knows I don’t get up early on a Sunday) and started preparing his Father’s Day meal full of his favorites. I received a new pan in the mail earlier that week so I was excited to try it out. I’m not sure if you are familiar with the Our Place Always Pan. Apparently this pan was featured on the today’s show and folks were going crazy over it. I needed to know what all the hype was about so I got my hands on one. Right in time for Father’s Day.

I decided to cook Barretts all time favorite in this pan, Candied Sweet Potatoes. Yes, I was taking a big chance because if I ruined this dish, I would not hear the end of it. I usually use the same pan every time when I cook sweet potatoes. I’m crazy like that and it is that serious. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! I understand why this pan is sold out! Not only did the pan cook these bad boys to perfection, the clean up was much easier due to the non stick surface. I’m sold and now I want another one. Did I mention it comes in a few pretty colors, comes with a steamer basket and a spatula that has a cute resting holder.

Ok, I know y’all are tired of hearing about this pan. Since I loved the way my sweet potatoes came out, I thought I would do y’all a favor and share this recipe with you. I filmed a little how to video for everyone. I hope you enjoy these sweet potatoes as much as my husband does. And if you make it, let me know. I would love to hear how they came out.
