How to Manifest Your Dream Life

If you are a spiritual person (by that I mean in tune with yourself and your surroundings, regardless of religion), you have likely come across manifestation and perhaps already practice it. For those of you who are new to the subject, allow me to shed some light on why it’s so powerful and how you can begin practicing it today.

WHAT IS MANIFESTATION?

Manifestation is the intention of visualizing and verbalizing what you want for yourself, and your life, and bringing it from thought to tangible reality. Now, it’s not a magic trick where you sit down and say “I want a million dollars” and it appears in your lap. However, you can manifest money, and just about anything else you can think of.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

One of the most profound examples of manifestation becoming a reality is Jim Carrey. Back when he was still doing standup, before he was a famous comedic actor, he was feeling low about making his dream a reality. He gave himself ten years in LA to make it, and if it didn’t happen by then, he made a deal with himself to head home to Canada and give up on comedy and show business.

In 1985, Carrey wrote himself a check for $10-million dollars, and wrote in the description “for acting services rendered.” He tucked it away in his wallet and saw it on a daily basis. A constant reminder of his intentions. In 1995, he landed roles in both Dumb & Dumber and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. His combined take home pay from both roles? Ten-million dollars.

HOW TO MANIFEST

Through manifestation Jim Carrey made his financial and career dreams become a reality. While he only wrote the check once, the act of writing it with a specific amount, specific timeline, and specific “services” was a strong act of manifestation. The fact he carried it in his wallet and saw it every day as a reminder is another act of manifestations. Here are a few ways you can begin to manifest for yourself:

Set a reminder to journal or speak affirmations daily

Make your manifestations as specific as possible, think of Carrey’s example. Instead of wishing for ten million dollars, think of when you’ll receive it and what for

Put your manifestations somewhere you will be reminded of them daily. Make it a written background on your phone or computer, put a piece of paper in your wallet, say the same thing every day until it becomes a reality. Repetition is key.

Visualize it as if what you are manifesting is already real and available to you

Pay attention to your energy and remove anything that takes away from your journey

I’m curious to know, have you had success with practicing manifestation? I’ve made it a goal of mine and will manifest greatness in my life. Let’s do this together.
